The Lead Hill Garage story began in 1993, when Colin Teasdale opened the service department doors for the very first time. Situated in the heart of Worksop town centre, Lead Hill Garage continues to be an independent, family owned company built upon the principles of providing a professional and personal service of the highest standard. The company has indeed flourished since opening with numerous additions to business being added on the journey to where we find ourselves today -including becoming an MOT testing station in 1997, becoming recognised for supplying high-quality vehicles since 2000, and then offering local motorists valeting and bodywork services in the Valeting Bay and Body Repair Centre which was added in 2002; however, the perspectives and the foundations upon which the company was built have not altered in the slightest since the day Colin first threw open those doors.

This vision and outlook is without no-doubt why from day one Colin built a large, loyal customer base, and we are very lucky to be able to say that we continue to get customers through the door now who were amongst the first visitors to Lead Hill Garage way back in 1993.
We pride ourselves upon the fact that the business continues to be built upon strong family values, contributing to our high levels of one-to-one customer care. We endeavour to deliver old fashioned customer service across all three of our departments; treating customers with utmost respect and care – whether they are purchasing a new car, have their vehicle booked in for a service or MOT, or are treating their vehicle to a clean or cosmetic repair in our Valeting Bay and Body Repair Centre.
Our Reputation
It is because of this, and because of the high level of experience of which our workforce boasts that Lead Hill Garage has built such an enviable reputation since 1993. The Sales Department has become very well known since the year 2000 for sourcing and supplying extremely low mileage single owner vehicles, usually three years old or newer, with full, comprehensive service histories. An enormous amount of pride is taken in preparing our vehicles for sale; preparing them to the highest standard possible. Each and every car supplied by ourselves is delivered to the new owner with 12 months MOT (where applicable), a complimentary service, and is meticulously valeted and detailed above and beyond the standard of the big dealers. This, combined with our outlook, personal and friendly, old-fashioned customer service is why we continue to keep exceptionally busy in our Sales Department.
We are fortunate to have many long standing members of staff across our Service Department and Valeting Bay and Body Repair Centre, who take pride in both the detail and quality of their work and the range of services they carry out. All of our technicians’ experience began in main franchise dealerships spanning Vauxhall, Fiat, Toyota and Ford to name but a few, with their knowledge and experience being continually applied to working on a vast range of makes and models. These are amongst some of the fundamental factors which contribute to us becoming and being one of Worksop’s largest town centre garages with all your mechanical needs being served under one roof.

In our thriving Service Department, we are able to service vehicles from most manufacturers whilst under their warranty using genuine parts to keep guarantees intact; we are also proud to boast two fully qualified FGas technicians licensed to handle air conditioning gases and carry out repairs and servicing to such systems; and continual investment in diagnostic and technical data systems is another of many ways we ensure we are kept in tune with cars of today, all in addition to the mainstream repairs and services offered in garages.
In our Valeting Bay and Body Repair Centre we pride ourselves in using top quality products from Autosmart and Autoglym in our broad range of valeting options to suit every requirement whilst offering tailored valeting packages including vehicle sign writing removal, motorhome valeting for private, trade and fleet customers. Our Body Repair Centre leads us to be able to conduct cosmetic repairs from a small scuff to a complete accident repair to very high standards.
